There are other rough edges to the game but if it were not for the messy deck list I would have stuck with the game for longer. I grew frustrated with this very quickly. It quickly feels like a chore so you botch it and this hurts your performance. The messy deck list will make this process a lot more tedious than it needs to be and make you waste a lot of time over the course of a playthrough. New cards appear all the time and if you want to perform you need to tweak your decks constantly. After downloading, you can view the maps offline by its tool Maps Viewer, or you can combine the small images into one big map image. Decks are small (14 cards max) so this is still manageable but in this game you need to constantly tweak 3 decks ( one for each hero ). Worst thing for me is that you cannot sort or organise your deck list in any way.Ĭards are listed in the order you add them. I don't think I will play this game again and the main reason is certainly the clunky UI. If I could I would give this a neutral as the game has many charms and is still fun if you can ignore some of the glaring issues with the UI. Pick a lane guys.Thing with this game is that it was rushed to release then abandoned due to poor sales and left with bugs and lack of polish. Totally blindsided here and absolutely zero motivation to play a pretty easy mellow game that auto-nerfs you after 30 turns. But that’s because you know it’s coming and it’s a challenge start to finish. I like roguelites, I even like roguelikes which are much harder. So you’re never gonna progress past the first 30 tiles for maybe dozens of runs before you can power up enough to get past them, after which the process repeats after another 30 turns and grind grind grind away. So you die pathetically and only then can you discern the roguelite structure of the game: new cards are awarded for your forced failure to help with the next run. After 30 tiles that were a pleasant mild challenge, you get forced to fight an impossible battle, where at best you manage to slay one of three OP opponents that respawn anyway in 3 turns. I play for a bit, seems cool, building my deck and powering up bit by bit. So hey, I got Netflix, I like games, looked online for their best offering and this game came up. Surprise roguelite sucker punch, not cool
